Landings from Chioggia's Fleet: the Database

Chioggia’s fish market database provides access to historical harvest trends of fish and seafood products in the Northern Adriatic Sea and to data of Chioggia’s fishing fleet, representing a valuable tool for different users: fish biologists, fishery operators, resources management administrators, students and citizens. Searches can be done either by specifying the species’s common name (e.g.. Smelt), or the scientific one (Atherina boyeri), or even the dialect one (Anguèla). Thanks to the contribution of professional fishermen, sportsmen, divers, and boaters, the database also includes reports of rare, occasional, new or unknown species, unusual sightings or uncommon catches, and events of exceptional memory. To visit the official website of the database and access to all the details click here.
